Maple River Grain and Agronomy, LLC (MRGA, LLC) is excited to announce that on July 1st, 2024 we will be transitioning to doing business under Maple River Coop d/b/a MRGA. Since MRGA, LLC is 100% owned by Maple River Coop, there will not be much change in day to day operations.
The main reason for changing business structure is for the tax benefits from the Domestic Production Activities Deduction (DPAD) for both Maple River Coop and our patrons. As part of the change, Maple River Coop will be sending 1099’s to our patrons with per unit retains to take advantage of the Domestic Production Activities Deduction. We will send out more information on that at the end of the year.
In the next month we will be sending out existing grain contracts and agronomy bookings to be resigned under Maple River Coop d/b/a MRGA. If you have any questions please give me a call at 701-347-4465.
